After long-distance cycling, Li Tiejun moved into off-road rally. The attraction was not speed alone but navigation, mechanical preparation, risk judgment, and responsibility to a team.

A conservative index of rally experience: it records only reviewable periods and public results, and never turns the Dakar ambition into a completed result.

Dakar appears in the archive as a long-term ambition and a scale against which preparation is tested—not as a completed credential.

New energy changes more than propulsion: it changes charging, routes, repair, risk models, and the story a rally can tell. This remains a research and development direction.
